For one of the most influential pieces of technology in music, there is now a documentary. 808: The Music is a film collaboration between You Know Studios and Atlantic Films with narration from Zane Lowe and commentary from the likes of Questlove, Rick Rubin, and Phil Collins, amongst others. Of course to accompany this, there’s a fantastic soundtrack and both the film and the OST can be streamed on Apple Music right now.
