There was me getting ready to listen to some of the latest releases from this week (The Foreign Exchange, Tanya Morgan, Drake) and out of the blue, 9th Wonder dropped a 73-track beat tape (yep, seventy-three) named after his grandmother, Bladey Mae.

For any cave dwellers who have yet to hear a beat by 9th or weren’t aware of him by name, you’ll soon recognise his distinctive drum kit and strong soulful chops. I wonder (pardon the pun) who’s gonna jump on these beats and release them without permission *ahem*. Only kidding. Sort of.
