I’ve always been a big fan of Batman since a child so upon hearing Scott Xylo had a track inspired by the dystopian version of Bruce Wayne’s home town from Batman Beyond, my attention was well and truly grabbed. But that’s where the similarities end as instead, you’re taken on a psychesonic journey which has become a signature from Xylo. Alongside that are the visuals featuring yet more of Xylo’s loves – anime. The director behind the video, Carter Hammond, paints a swirling analog spectacle that should come with a health warning for those watching under the influence. Neo-Gotham is another fine example of why Scott Xylo is someone you shouldn’t sleep on. The track will feature on his Heero Scott EP, out on his Bandcamp on 6th June.
