Janelle Monáe adds some visuals for her funktastic new single, Q.U.E.E.N, featuring Erykah Badu.

I’ve found it hard to formulate words for this as it gave me pure unadulterated LIFE, but I’ll keep it professional for a minute. Janelle Monáe dropped “Q.U.E.E.N” from her upcoming album Electric Lady towards the tail end of last month with a feature from fellow music queen Erykah Badu. Having dropped a mini video teaser a few days ago, the full video premiered on BET’s 106 & Park and is now up on YouTube. The monochrome aesthetics contrast with the colourful funk extravaganza of the track itself, showing Janelle in some mean looking outfits and sporting a mod cut and black and white striped dress. Yes, that is Janelle Monáe amongst the dancers.
