Stones Throw have launched a vinyl subscription service and to kick things off, the first release will be a Madlib’s remix of Champion Sound and the unreleased track ‘Da Rawkus‘.
The cut was recorded by Dilla and Madlib between LA and Detroit in 2002 with the Oxnard-native on the beats and Detroit’s finest with the rhymes. The track lives up to its name with some rambunctious sounds, a scuzzy sample of Flight Of The Bumblebee and Jay Dee going AWF on the mic.
