Jus Now Have Created A Mammoth West Indian Drum Sample Library

just-now

The UK-Caribbean double act have put together a fantastic library to add some cool rides to your tracks.

The carnival vibe was exemplified by the Olympics in Rio, along with the annual events in Rio and Notting Hill. If you’re missing that vibrance and colour, Jus Now have you covered. The duo – Sam Interface from Bristol and LAZAbeam from Trinidad – have compiled an incredible sample library named the “Laventille Rhythm Section”. It contains Trinidadian percussion, in conjunction with Indigisounds, creators of the world’s first comprehensive steel pan sample library and holds over 3000 instruments.

The pack also includes West African drums, sounds from recycled oil barrels and iron wheel hubs. You also get 8 rhythm loops made by Jus Now and the Laventille Rhythm Section. The possible drawback for some producers? The sample library costs $99, which is a fair price for what you get and the best things in life aren’t always free. You can preview some of the samples below.
