First off, I’d like to apologise for the radio silence. Life gets in the way of motivation at times but there’s always time to change that. Fortunately, this song is good enough to warrant an article. It comes from Noname Gypsy, a Chicagoan female singer with a knack for rapping on the fly. Her track “Cherrypie Blues” is featured on Two Syllable Records’ Chicago Cassette Compilation: Volume 2 and contains a deluge of sophisticated wordplay and a dizzying beat in the background.
