One man’s discarded beat is another blog’s treasure as Orion uploads an outtake onto Soundcloud.
Leftover beats, demos and outtakes can really tell you about an artist because it give an indication as to just how good the released material had to have been to push out the tracks that got left behind. Or perhaps they were just that poor. Fortunately, that’s not the case for Orion and this discarded beat from 2010 called Break 1 (Uno Esta Flip). The break should be familiar – Ashley’s Roachclip by The Soul Searchers – but that doesn’t leave the track sounding stale. That’s where the melody comes in and the good old filter to give it that warm bassy sound. This guy is good.
