Pete Rock and Camp Lo have come back together for their second joint release, 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt. 2. There are some projects that don’t even require a listen to question its quality and 80 Blocks fell into that category. However, I would have been a fool and a bad fan if I didn’t wrap my ears around and of course I wasn’t disappointed. Pete retains his integral production skills with his signature approach to drum breaks and sampling while Camp Lo sound as fresh as they did back in 1997 with their stonking debut. Features include Talib Kweli, M.O.P., Mac Miller and Ab-Soul.
