The five-week RBMA series will star the likes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Hudson Mohawke, Floating Points and many more in Paris and kicks off with a launch event in London on 22nd October.
Between 25th October and 27th November, RBMA will be in Paris for their annual showcase of events featuring lectures, workshops and plenty of cultural exhibitions. 61 participants from 37 different countries have been invited to collaborate in the best recording facilities possible at the RBMA HQ in La Gaîté lyrique. If you think that’s cool, there’ll also be mentoring and tutelage from the likes of Modeselektor, Thundercat and Just Blaze to name a few.
As mentioned previously, there’ll be a wide range of shows and gigs over the five weeks including a rare public lecture from Jean-Michel Jarre as well legendary disco producer Cerrone, The Pitchfork Paris Club Night will play host to none other than the UK’s Hudson Mohawke and a live set from France’s god of techno Laurent Garnier. This will be RBMA’s first visit to Europe in 4 years and what better place to have it than the home of Air, Daft Punk, Cassius, Alan Braxe and Fred Falke.
