Coalmine Records new dynamic duo come together for “Infomercial (Freestyle)” with a collab album due in February 2017.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the music of Thelonious Martin since he burst through in 2012 so we’re thrilled to hear of this new collab project with Brooklyn emcee Saga. “Molotov” will feature high profile clientele (Freddie Gibbs, Fashawn, and Rapper Big Pooh for example) and while we wait, the pair have dropped the lead single, “Infomercial (Freestyle).” The beat comes from Martin’s Late Night Programming and sees Saga lay down some classic Brooklyn grit and humorous wordplay: “Sacrificin’ like an Aztec, knife to the heart/The whole team, they bouncin’ like a bad check.”
Molotov is set to drop on 10th February 2017, through all major digital retailers.
