When I was sent this, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Sherman Hemsley (RIP), better known as George Jefferson on All in the Family and The Jeffersons, embarked on a music career in the late 80s, having been a jazz keyboardist before becoming an actor.
He released “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” in 1989 before dropping the album Dance in 1992. This lead to a performance on Soul Train with some sexy backing singers/dancers and the flyest moves you’ll ever see from a 54 year-old man.
