Grime isn’t a genre we normally cover on Sampleface but with tracks and artists like Stormzy, we might have to branch out. If you’re not into your grime, here’s a little background info. Stormzy started out at the age of 11 and in July, released his debut EP, Dreamers Disease.
This was followed by winning the Best Grime Act award at the MOBOs as well as featuring on the BBC’s Sound of 2015 list. For ‘Where Do You Know Me From’, the London rapper brings the hype and energy synonymous with the genre whilst throwing in some humorous wordplay and hooks aplenty, all behind a catchy riddim courtesy of Z-Dot.
