One thing about me: I love house edits. Producers who flip songs and sprinkle their own blend of oonts oonts all over them is right up my street and Ahwlee has joined the fray with APARTMENT, an 11-track album of house loops and remixes.
You may have read my articles on Knxwledge’s two house albums, 家.V1 and 家.V2, and I love that another of my faves has gone in this direction too. Everything is undoubtedly funky but nothing is ever one-note. You get that Balearic/soul house vibe on tracks like 1.rentro and livingroom and funkier styles on APT. 9 (which Ahwlee teased on Instagram yesterday).
I’d love for more of this in the future but for now, I’m gonna have APARTMENT on loop in my own house and I suggest you do the same.
