RIP Michael Jackson – Ten Quotes From The King Of Pop

6.  “People ask me how I make music. I tell them I just step into it. It’s like stepping into a river and joining the flow. Every moment in the river has its song.” Another example of the infiniteness of music and it being bigger than the artist. Bravado may sell records but you have …

6.  “People ask me how I make music. I tell them I just step into it. It’s like stepping into a river and joining the flow. Every moment in the river has its song.”

Another example of the infiniteness of music and it being bigger than the artist. Bravado may sell records but you have to respect the artform as it is – an artform, free flowing and never stopping. It may dry up in areas but it’s up to artists to replenish the stream, not quarrel about why it isn’t flowing anymore. Don’t let the record execs tell you how you’re harming it. Feed the river.

7.  “To live is to be musical, starting with the blood dancing in your veins. Everything living has a rhythm. Do you feel your music?”

I’m just gonna leave this here.

8.  “You’re a vegetable!”

And this too.

9.  “She is banging!”

Because she really was banging.

10.  “Human knowledge consists not only of libraries of parchment and ink – it is also comprised of the volumes of knowledge that are written on the human heart, chiselled on the human soul, and engraved on the human psyche.”

Man, why didn’t I think of that? I don’t think this needs any kind of interpretation. Let it marinate instead. Michael Jackson knew stuff.
