Having journeyed through Africa and the Americas, Blitz The Ambassador managed to capture the essence of the African diaspora; fragmented but ever present. Diasporadical mixes those themes together with his trademark hip hop sounds whilst touching on deeper issues such as the BLM movement and the protests in South Africa and Brazil. Collaborators include Optiks and IAMNOBODI, enlisted to retain that melding of cultures and rhythms.
Alongside the album, Blitz directed a short film called ‘Diasporadical Trilogia’, following a woman who finds herself on three different continents. This is more than just an album of songs – it’s a cultural experience and an extension of many and all movements.
