I’m still not okay about image AI but this use case isn’t nearly as bad as some I’ve witnessed. JGVision Media used AI generated images for every lyric of Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and the results were quite interesting. From the offset, we’re greeted with various attempts at the title ‘Billie Jean’ in all its garbled glory (image AI is notoriously bad at writing letters in any language) and then what I assume is interpretations of “bass line” given all the bassists we see (some of them have really cool bass guitars!)
The rest is a variety of picturesque sceneries and moody portraits to convey the equally moody lyrics (it’s based on a real woman who lied about carrying Michael Jackson’s child after all).
