While many of us are still on lockdown, we need various forms of entertainment. Fortunately, Breakbot has us covered with their “Lockdown Boogie Mixtape”, a 51-minute mix of disco, funk, and house.

Who is Breakbot?

Breakbot (real name Thibaut Jean-Marie Michel Berland) is a French producer and DJ signed to Ed Banger Records. Better known for his remixes of tracks by the likes of Chromeo and Röyksopp, Breakbot specialises in French house, disco, electro-funk, and boogie.

It’s contagious – but in a good way!

The latter is evident in more than just the title as his Lockdown Boogie Mixtape covers decades of disco music and its offshoots. Breakbot even finds opportunities to throw his own tracks in to sweeten the bot so to speak.
