Did Xiaomi give their robot drummer some of that funky soul?

Xiaomi launched its CyberOne humanoid robot in August and now they’ve got it drumming like a human. Naturally, there’s no human swing mainly because the input was from a MIDI file, which was converted into drum hits by the robot, so no matter what anyone might think (ie. AI hype clowns), this is not a threat to drummers. But it looks cool enough I guess. Can I call this a drum machine?
