The man behind the mask (and inspiration for our own) goes by many names but for this Saturday Matinée, he comes with the name DOOM. The “last enigma of hip hop” took a seat on the sofa over at the Red Bull Music Academy in 2011 when it was held in Madrid and gave us an insight into what the mask was all about, beef behind his different nom de plumes, and why “good things come to those who wait”.
He also discusses some of the equipment he uses, how he produces his tracks and his sample choices. Clocking in at nearly 100 minutes, this is one of the most candid interviews you’ll find of the supervillain.
