This is possibly the most random thing I’ve ever discovered in my life, let alone on YouTube. In the film It’s Always Fair Weather, there’s a scene where Gene Kelly begins tap dancing in a pair of roller skates in the street. That’s pretty awesome in itself but while I was watching it for the first time, I also happened to be listening to Flying Lotus’ Do The Astral Plane and then it came together like peanut butter and jelly. They somehow synced together to great an amazing audiovisual experience. The tap dancing went so brilliantly with the music, it was like they were destined to be played together. So, I’m passing this revelation onto you all, but you have to follow these instructions for it to work:
1. Watch this version of Gene Kelly on roller skates and mute it.
2. Play this version of Do The Astral Plane.
