Earlier today, DJ of Khruangbin posted a snippet of the band’s cover of David Bowie’s ‘Right‘ on Instagram. It was good enough to excite me (because of course it was) and then the Khruangbin account posted a link to it from their bio.
And here we are.
It comes as part of a compilation of David Bowie covers titled ‘Modern Love’. Created by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, it features the likes of Miguel himself, Eddie Chacon, Meshell Ndegeocello, Nia Andrews, and Khruangbin.
It’s simply gorgeous. Every time. They just refuse to miss. The epitome of soul music. Their music has kept me going over the last 3-4 years and I’m so grateful for them and for this.
