Label Love is back with Vol. 6 of their label-crossing series featuring Samiyam, Adrian Younge and Shigeto.
You may remember we featured Label Love’s Vol. 5 Jazz Edition last year, which ended up being a great success. Well, the Tru Thoughts-run series has returned without more of the same quality. The likes of Stones Throw, Soulection and Wax Poetics have contributed their unique brands of music with joints from Adrian Younge, Samiyam, Shigeto and Boardwalk. The result is a menagerie of electro, hip hop, soul and jazz that hits you in the heart, soul and both eardrums. Label Love claim their mission is “to unite music creators and purveyors from around the world to spread the gospel of good music to all”. They’re doing a pretty good job so far.
