1984 People Magazine Commercial (Michael Jackson)
During Michael Jackson’s memorial montage in 2009, I saw a clip that I’d never seen before. He was on a lit street at night in a black and red military jacket. Was it a promo? A film scene I’d not heard about? I had no idea where to even find it at the time and I had to let it go as an unknown thing (to me) that happened.
Fast forward to 2023 and I remembered a little thing called Google Lens, which can search images to find other similar images. I decided to feed it a screenshot and… I found it! It was a commercial for his special People Extra magazine issue from 1984.
