South London rapper Mr Ekow spits the ultimate flames in his eponymous freestyle.
I have a backlog of submissions to get through. It’s not something bloggers talk about in the open but we get a lot. I’m glad I kept this one. Mr Ekow is a rapper from South London and in his “Ekow Freestyle”, he raps incredible bars over the Nas and Swizz Beatz’s ‘Echo’ instrumental. It comes in at just over 3 minutes and every verse is a gem. No stone is left unturned subject-wise, jumping from “metaphysical realities” to classic hip hop bravado.
Ekow told us the freestyle was a “statement of his intent for 2019 with multiple releases lined up for the year”. If this performance is anything to go by, we’re in for a cracking 2019.
