His choice of samples and overall style won many plaudits, as to be expected for a multiple award-winning producer and Head of Creative at Def Jam Recordings. In 2016, he did a talk at Loop (A Summit for Music Makers) and talked about staying relevant in modern hip hop and why he likes to leave his beats sounding “unfinished.”
