While on the lookout for new albums this year, I came across ohwshe. and ghettotayps/6 which is super dope. In fact, I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of ohwshe. until now. The producer hails from New York and has lo-fi beats on deck, sampling from genres like R&B, jazz, VGM, yacht rock, and plenty more.
