Quasimoto’s The Unseen is one of the best hip hop albums of the 2000s, packed full of quirky samples and psilocybin-induced rhymes. YouTuber ayyy__donkey put together a video of samples from the album, courtesy of Whosampled data.

Many of these I knew but that doesn’t stop them being awesome. For me, one of the most underrated samples comes from the album intro, ‘Welcome To Violence’. I’d always thought the delay was “straight from the cassette” as it were. ‘Two Little Boys’ by The Last Poets is probably my favourite from the whole LP.
