The album clocks in at just over 20 minutes, so it’s not a lengthy project, but it doesn’t need to be, with seamless blends of warbling samples over dragging, heavy beats. The opener “Pilot” features a dialogue from Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction where Samuel L. Jackson explains what a pilot is. Here’s hoping this one turns into a full series and doesn’t get cancelled.
