Coffee Pot (It’s Time For The Percolator) [alternatively Coffee Pot (Percolator Mix)] is a 1992 Chicago house track by Cajmere, better known as Green Velvet (amongst other names). The song’s popularity resulted in some key all-time lists such as Rolling Stone’s “20 Best Chicago House Records” list in 2014 and Mixmag’s “20 Best US Rave Anthems of the ’90s” list in 2019 and generated its own dance.
In the video above, we see the Detroit crew busting their own interpretation of the Percolator dance on The New Dance Show, a Detroit dance and techno show.
