Houston Press put together a list of their five best songs made from Beatles samples.

The Beatles are probably the most famous band ever (yes, even more famous than One Direction) and they have a pretty extensive sample history but Houston Press took it upon themselves to select just five of the best songs they thought had sampled the Liverpool rock ‘n’ roll band. We won’t reveal the list but there are a few songs we could easily see on there instead. Any track from Danger Mouse’s The Grey Album would be worthy of a place but more “obscure” tracks to the more mainstream listener could include J Dilla’s sample of The Beatles’ (well, a Beatles cover) Hard Day’s Night for Sleeping Like A Dog, Languid’s Ask Me Why (sample of Please Please Me).
