Ever since Chain Glow with Nas last year, I’ve really enjoyed Cocaine 80s and what they’ve come out with. If you’ve never heard of them before, they’re a collective of musicians, singers, and one rapper (Common) from Chicago, put together by frequent Common collaborator, No I.D. On Fly Ass Pisces, we hear the perfect combination of Fauntleroy and Jhené Aiko vocals over some really heavy drumming. Seriously, the harmonies are heavenly. Common also appears for a few slick verses (as always). The track is off Cocaine 80s upcoming The Flower Of Life EP and needless to say, we’re definitely looking forward to the rest of it.
