I’ve managed to avoid the entirety of Hotline Bling. I’ve heard the hook, I’ve seen parts of the video and the variety of parodies but I’ve yet to hear the song in full. This is by choice and I’m okay with that. However, I discovered this gospel cover of HB via Twitter, performed by Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church in Atlanta. It’s a little rough around the edges but it actually adds a soulful feel and the lead voice is channelling the power of God, Jesus and all 12 of his disciples in those vocals.
