Kine Hjeldnes is a Norwegian singer with the voice of a Scandinavian siren but without the danger of death. Her vocals are a thing of beauty, perfect fodder for any remixer out there. Well, that’s where Axel Kacoutié stepped in when he messed around with Kine’s track “Father”, adding some sparse percussion giving the overall song some more body. The accompanying video is a visual salute to Madonna’s Frozen, but with a completely different aesthetic – more earth and light than Madonna’s cold and barren cinematography. It’s a treat for all the senses.
