Earlier today, I tweeted about a country-style cover of Prince’s ‘Cream‘ which I enjoyed hearing one time in a restaurant in Lisbon a few years ago. And in August last year, I heard a similar cover of one of my faves: Michael Jackson.
The song in question was ‘Bad‘ and it was covered by There I Ruined It, who transformed Nirvana’s ‘Come As You Are‘ into a swing song. For Bad, his genre of choice was bluegrass and for all the jarring audiovisual juxtaposition, it kinda works. I’m not mad at it anyway.
