This is the age of the flourishing internet label. Not the kind you found on a net label directory, the kind selling music by the best underground artists on CD, cassette, vinyl and digital of course. Thrash Flow came onto the scene not too long ago and the first artist to join the ranks was Richmond’s Ohbliv and last week, the producer dropped his debut for the label. MindGarden is overflowing with thick drums, skittish drums but most importantly, plenty of soul. There’s a deep rawness on this project, more so than his previous albums in a similar vein to Tuamie’s Masta Killa.
