Young London Rapper Coops has truly landed a gig of a life time opening up for emcee legend Nas on his “Life’s Good” Tour. This young man is one to watch having a nice blend of a new school twist with a heavy old school flavour. He won the competition with his aptly Nas inspired “Queens Head” which the video itself has a wonderful feel and captures the essence of what Coops is trying to get across.
I got a lot of respect for Coops as its a dope track and lord knows so many other emcee’s and rappers would love to be in his position. This comes in a timely fashion with the release of his first mixtape “What Do You See”. This comes with a nice blend of freestyles and original material that new and old Samplefacers will enjoy. You can find him on twitter @CoopsOfficial and here for his mixtape “What Do You See”.
If you are fortunate enough to have tickets for the tour you can catch Coops opening up at the show in London O2. For now I shall leave you with another track of his I like filmed by LinkupTV called “Fruit Punch & Frozen Pizza”
