Of all the places to find obscure places to find samples and hidden music treasures in general, the Arab world is the most unknown. Luckily for us, there are some producers willing to unearth the best Arab music has to offer and Jannis of Jakarta Records is one of them. During his time in Northern Africa, Jannis put together a selection of Syrian, Lebanese, Egyptian, Moroccan and Tunisian music from the 60s and 70s.
