Roland Announces The SP-404A

Go from X to A with the new Roland SP-404A sampler.

SP-404A

You know we LOVE the SP-404. Well, Roland went ahead and upgraded it. The SP-404A is a revamped version of the classic sampler “designed for live use”. It’s defining feature is the ability to marry up with Roland’s TR-8, combining both sample and percussive synthesis. It can either work as a standalone unit or be controlled by the TR-8. For old users of the 404X this won’t seem like much of a change bar a new colour scheme when used as a single sampler. The main selling point will be its integration with the TR-8, allowing for a new live experience.

The 404A retails at £419.00 on pre-order. Watch a demo video below.
