Music podcast The Music Snobs is our One To Watch.
I’ve throwing a curve ball with the latest selection for One To Watch in that I haven’t chosen an artist or producer. The Music Snobs is a podcast dedicated to the discussion and deconstruction of musicians and their output, past and present. This is something we do ourselves here at Sampleface but The Music Snobs delve deep into the history and intellectual aspects of their topics and the quartet behind the views are more than qualified to comment.
TMS is compromised of Scoop Jackson (award-winning journalist and former Editor-In-Chief of XXL Magazine), Isaac Perry (writer and Lead Creative at Paradox Media), Jehan B (London-based attorney and musician) and Arthur Turnbull (moderator, music critic and lead voice of The Music Snob). Between them, they come up with some of the most interesting and insightful opinions outside of print media, if not better (as they don’t have obligations to editors). They remain frank and honest and while I don’t always agree with views posed on their podcasts, they back up their claims intelligently and with references. By the time you’ve finished the first episode, you’ll feel like they’re your best friends. Or is that just me?
