Our man Waajeed is known for playing with the stereotypes of the music industry as he discussed in his RBMA Seattle lecture from 2006. His one-time project Waajeed & The Jazz Katz is an example of that tomfoolery. To date, their only project is “Marvin vs. WJK”, a selection of seven songs reworked to the vocals of Marvin Gaye. The EP was released on a limited vinyl press hence us missing this completely.
