The electronic three piece sat down with House Shoes and talked about how they got together for Boiler Room.
It was a Detroit connection in Boiler Room’s BTS feature today with House Shoes talking to Tiny Hearts in LA about their humble beginnings and how their styles don’t really fit but evidently do in the end thanks to a combination of Waajeed’s nasty drum work, Tim K’s grizzly melodic structures and the cold flow of Dede’s vocals. In between the talk is a story from Shoes about the time he bought a heap of donuts in honour of Dilla’s passing via a drunken haze.
