Anime and hip hop have gone hand-in-hand for decades so it’s great to hear that Tracklib, a platform that gives producers royalty-free samples and stems, has signed a licensing deal with Bandai Namco Arts Inc. The games company, best known for titles such as Tekken and Pac-Man, also operates a music label (Lantis) that features anime OSTs and VGM (video game music) and the licensing agreement will allow existing tracks from the Lantis catalogue to be used as samples.
If you’re a Tracklib user or thinking of signing up, let us know what you think in the comments!
