Roc-A-Fella’s Young Guru talks about his vinyl collection and why he doesn’t have time to count his records.
Young Guru is more than just a producer with close ties to Jay-Z. His time as an engineer, A&R man and something of an educator has put him above many in his field. His record collection was the subject of the latest Crate Diggers episode. He spoke about his time digging in Amsterdam, his love of drums and the reason for not knowing how many records he has: “I got four kids, I don’t have time to count my records.” Sounds legit.
