Parisian producer FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) has dropped his new EP, Time For A Change.

First of all, shout out to Shawn Sanderson for sending me this and correctly guessing I’d love it. FKJ (short for French Kiwi Juice) is a Parisian producer with a love of funk, as we all should have. Much like his funk predecessors – James Brown, George Clinton, Sly and The Family Stone – he took that wild feeling and made some music out of it. The result: Time For A Change, a four-track EP soaked in deep continental electronic funk. Fans of funk’s modern “retro” slant should be familiar with France’s prestige in the area thanks to acts like Cassius and Onra and I think FKJ is really working his way into that high esteemed list.
