I recently got into AudioPilz’s Bad Gear series, bursting with dry humour, wild memes, and reviews of music gear (you know, the important part). This video is all about Teenage Engineering’s EP–133 K.O. II, the company’s latest 64MB sampler.
I must admit I was tempted by the look and price point of this at first but having watched the video—which was quite informative btw and you should check it out if you’re intrigued by the device—I’ll have to pass. It seems to have way too many hardware issues that I don’t need when my workflow is currently stress-free, and perhaps too fiddly? Again, another “me” problem but not worth the £300+ experiment when I already bought a Novation Circuit Rhythm a few years ago for a similar reason.
If you have an EP–133 K.O. II, you’re considering getting one, or you just love Teenage Engineering, let me know in the comments!
