The Yamaha DX7 is an iconic piece of music gear. If you’ve heard any pop music from the 80s, you’ll have heard a DX7 preset. In fact, in 1986, it was used in 40% of the number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100.
So when I got an email from PhaseLab Audio saying he’d found a previously-lost instrument rack of Yamaha DX7 samples, my eyes widened. The rack contains 696 different instruments coming in at 7.4GB (so it’s a big rack 🌚).
You’ll need Live 9 Suite or above to use the presets and you can grab the instrument rack on Gumroad.
