Cory Henry Performs Billie Jean at the BBC Proms

Cory Henry Performs Billie Jean at the BBC Proms

Witness Cory Henry’s multi-instrumental cover of Billie Jean with Jacob Collier, Cory Henry, Jules Buckley and the Metropole Orkest.

You don’t need to hear what I think about this, you just need to hear what Cory Henry did. All I will say is it made me ugly cry from start to finish.

Arranged by Jules Buckley and the Metropole Orkest in celebration of the legendary Quincy Jones, the performance also stars another Quincy mentee, Jacob Collier.

Who is Cory Henry?

Cory Henry is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and music producer from Brooklyn, New York. Before he embarked on a solo career, Cory was a member of jazz collective Snarky Puppy.

He currently tours with his band The Funk Apostles and also plays the organ. His last album was Art of Love, released in July 2018 and he has toured with the likes of Boyz II Men, The Roots, and Kirk Franklin.

And he’s really good. If you hadn’t already noticed.
