Mac Advertising George Clinton
The P in P-Funk may up for debate as to what it stands for but in this case it might just be “power”. The forefather of the genre, George Clinton, explained what power was to him in this Apple commercial from 1995. It’s quite fascinating to see how archaic those Apple computers looked back in the day but George sure knows how to sell them and even makes a reference to sampling in the 30 second ad. For that, we salute you (along with all the amazing music of course). And if you’re wondering what kind of Mac that is, it’s a Power Macintosh 6100. Imagine sampling on THAT bad boy.
