World jet setter Ahmed Sirour has remixed Quadron’s Average Fruit and added his own twist.
We’ve been keeping tabs on Ahmed Sirour for a few months now. The Brooklynite producer has been travelling the world since January, taking in the cultures and expanding his musical horizons. Whilst on holiday in Johannesburg, Ahmed re-produced Quadron’s Average Fruit by working around the original, adding his own unique touches. Those included new keys, synths, effects, bass, drums and percussion and plenty more. The first half doesn’t sound overly different to the original but you have to wait for the second part kick in and it becomes a celebration. The inspiration coming from his time in South Africa is clear, particularly in the wonderful guitar solo, programmed by Ahmed himself.
